Yes, but what transpired from sta...。在富山监狱担任技术指导官员的仓岛英二（高仓健 饰）新近丧妻，妻子洋子（田中裕子 饰）的音容笑貌和曼妙歌喉时时盘桓心头，令他难以忘怀。这天他收到洋子生前寄来的绘信，叮嘱丈夫将自己的骨灰撒在故乡长崎薄香的海里。抱持着心间种种疑问，仓岛驾车踏上旅途。一路上他结识了自称新近丧妻的国文教师（北野武 饰）、开朗的车站便当推销员田宫（草剪刚 饰）及其沉默寡言的下属南原（佐藤浩市 饰）、薄香当地经营餐馆的母女（余贵美子 & 绫濑遥 饰）、老渔夫大浦吾郎（大泷秀治 饰）及其孙子（山浦贵大 饰），交织着与妻子相守时分的点点滴滴，仓岛终于抵达旅途的终点…… 本片荣获第36届日本电影金像奖最佳男配角奖（大泷秀治）和最佳女配角奖（余贵美子），该片也是大泷先生的遗作。。
