Lured by her grandfather to live amidst the wealthy and privileged Heaven seems to have it all until the ghosts of her past rise up once more, threatening her precious new life.。十六世纪末，东场西场在朝廷上争权的斗争日趋白热，组建“大同契”抵御外敌的于历卷入其中，因谋逆罪被处以极刑，大同契一案的幕后主使韩申均有庶子韩坚子（白成铉 饰），韩坚子在韩家毫无地位可言，他一次次用暴力谋求尊严，但终不得志。大同契内部的野心家李梦鹤（车胜元 饰）认为抵御外敌先要荡平腐败的朝廷，成功执掌大同契后，李梦鹤将韩申均满门斩杀复仇，于历生前好友——目盲的高手黄处士（黄政民 饰）出面阻止梦鹤，并将重伤的韩坚子救走。梦鹤率领大同契打出反朝廷大旗，在各地掀起暴力反抗。另一方面，拜黄处士为师的韩坚子苦心修炼，踏上了寻找李梦鹤复仇的旅途。在纷纷乱世中，每个人都将面对自己命运的劫数……。
