The gate to the Kingdom is opening once more…。该剧主要描写长沙老城区一户姓严的人家，老两口生有四个儿子，除了一个儿子已经结婚，其他三个儿子都已有对象，依着老严的如意算盘，三个未来儿媳应该是本地姑娘。但恰恰相反，三个儿子的意中人却都是外地女子，一个带回来了常德妹子，一个带回来了北京姑娘，还有一个甚至带来了金发碧眼洋妞。老严阻挡不成，几个外地媳妇硬是挤进了家门。从此严家的生活秩序被打破了，充满新鲜内容和喜剧色彩的生活展现在我们面前……。无为地度过人生的不受欢迎的牛郎·樱田和彦（柳乐优弥饰）在意外事故中丧命，他与和自己一样无法成佛的幽灵们在一个屋檐下生活的过程中重新审视人生并找回人性的样子。。
