三年前林超科因为与李鹰的理念不合，带着有人类意识的机器人，离开了李鹰。三年后，林超科的女儿林玉，在补习班里遇到一个奇怪的儿童机器人李机。林玉和他很有好感，和他成为朋友。林玉始料不及，李机是李鹰派来的。 林玉生日那天，李机潜入林超科家里，想去偷电脑数据，阴差阳错之下，落下泳池发生了故障。林超科在修好他的同时，也给他赋予人类意识。 李机成为新人类后，林超科和林玉对他悉心照顾，教导他好好做人，但是李鹰不愿意放弃李机，又对林超科当年带走的机器人耿耿于怀，派出了一个邪恶的机器人。 李机林玉，与邪恶机器人斗智斗勇的同时，李机明白了作为人类的责任，林玉也慢慢知道了自己的真正身份……。The plot introduces us to a psychologist who suggests to three couples that they engage in a group session, where they will have to analyse each other without her being present.
